BVM SEC-39 CONDUCTED "GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING SESSION" FOR THE PARENTS OF SENIOR SECONDARY STUDENTS
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Sector-39, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, successfully organized a Guidance and Counselling Session for the Parents of Classes XI and XII on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in the school premises.
The event commenced with the Tilak and Deep Mantra, followed by a Lamp Lighting Ceremony by the parents, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. A warm welcome address delivered by the worthy Principal Mam set the tone for the session.
Our esteemed management members Mr. Rajiv Puri ji (Joint Secretary,BVM Trust),Mr.D.D.Sharma Ji( Manager,BVM Chd.Rd.) and Ms. Anu Kathuria (Incharge of Balvatika,BVM KItchlu Nagar) graced the occasion with their presence.A detailed presentation on the School Code of Conduct was shared, emphasizing discipline and ethical values by the Vice Principal, Kumar Gaurav . A powerful skit on drug addiction was performed to spread awareness about the dangers of substance abuse among teenagers.The session included insightful discussions on various contemporary issues faced by students and the vital role of parents in guiding them. Ms. Mamta Ruprai ( PGT Business Studies) and Mr. Mohit ( PGT Maths) addressed the role of parents in managing peer pressure, cyberbullying and road safety. Ms. Dolly( PGT Physics)and Ms. Rajinder ( PGT Biology) highlighted the impact of family bonding and the environment on teenage development.
Ms. Rimjim ( PGT Chemistry) and Ms. Monika( PGT Economics) spoke about the emotional well-being of teenagers and the combined efforts of parents and school in shaping their future.
A melodious song performance by students added a touch of cultural warmth to the session. The event was concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the Vice Principal,Kumar Gaurav . Principal, Upasna Modgil while expressing her gratitude to the parents, speakers, and organizers emphasized the need for collaboration of parents and school to foster a supportive environment for the students in this challenging world
